Fara (✦) is the credit you spend on Faraatarjomeh. You buy a pack once and spend it on translation and the other tools. There's no subscription and nothing is taken each month. New accounts receive a Fara grant after email confirmation.

Upload your file. Analysing it and estimating the cost takes nothing from your balance.

Press start, and the amount is held
When you press start, the amount for the job is set aside from your balance. Nothing is taken before that.

The real cost, at the end
At the end, the real cost is charged. For a document translation it can be a little higher or lower than the estimate. If the job fails, the held amount goes back to your balance.
What sets the price

Word count
Translation is priced on the file's word count, not its number of pages. A dense page and a sparse one don't cost the same.

Delivery speed
Economy is the default and usually takes about a day, though that isn't guaranteed. Fast starts right away, usually takes a few hours, and costs about twice as much. You see both prices side by side.

Type of job
Document translation is priced by word count. Video dubbing and meeting minutes are priced per minute of input. Podcast, audiobook and Persian voice are priced per minute of audio produced. Presentation slides, mind maps and LinkedIn posts are billed for what they actually use. The book summary is free.
Fara packs
The bigger the pack, the less each Fara costs. The Fara is the same in every pack, and it works for every tool.
No subscription
You buy a pack once. Nothing renews on its own, and nothing is taken from your card each month.
Payment
Payments go through Zarinpal, using Iranian bank cards. Pack prices are shown without tax; 10% value added tax is added when you pay.
Tools priced by the minute
An amount is held when you start, and the final charge is never more than that. Whatever isn't used goes back to your balance.

If a job doesn't go to plan
- The job fails or you cancel it: the held amount goes back to your balance.
- You were charged but got no file: write to us and we return the full amount to your balance.
- More than half of a book stays in English: nothing is charged, and you still get the files.
- You resend the sections that failed: you pay only for those.
- No job is ever charged twice.

What is Fara?

How is the cost of my document estimated?
Upload the file. Its words are counted, and you see the estimate for both delivery speeds side by side. The analysis and the estimate are free. The final charge can be a little higher or lower than the estimate.
Is it priced by the page or by the word?
By the word. A dense page and a sparse one don't cost the same.
Is there a monthly subscription?
No. You buy a pack once, and nothing renews on its own.
If a translation fails, do I get my Fara back?
Yes. If the job fails or you cancel it, the full held amount goes back to your balance. If you were charged but got no file, write to us and we return the full amount to your balance. No job is charged twice.
What if part of the book stays in English?
If more than half of the book stays in English, nothing is charged and you still get the files. If only some sections fail, you resend just those and pay only for them.
How can I pay?
With an Iranian bank card, through Zarinpal. Pack prices are shown without tax; 10% value added tax is added when you pay.
Do the writing style or delivery speed change the price?
The style doesn't; all three cost the same. Speed does: fast delivery costs about twice as much as economy.
